Travel with Miami Ski Club to Mt. Bachelor in Bend, Oregon, where skiing is incredible and nightlife is even better. Perfect slopes for all levels.
Mt. Bachelor is a true destination, even though they have no slope side lodging, no fancy base villages, and no condo developments. They have something much better.
Mt. Bachelor is surrounded by some of the most spectacular National Forest in the country. Skiers enjoy a feeling of wilderness and solitude that isn’t found anywhere else.
BEND OREGON Bend, Oregon is home to some of the country’s top craft breweries, tax-free shopping, and great apres-adventure entertainment. Small mountain town vibes meet sophistication here. Expect to find worldly menus and upscale cocktail bars mixed among local breweries and taco joints.
ABOUT MT. BACHELOR SKIING According to Ski Magazine, 2019, “You either love Mt. Bachelor or you don’t know Mt. Bachelor. No slopeside amenity can change what matters most—snow—and on that front 9,065 foot Mt. Bachelor is as reliable as they come. “We’ve been there five times over the past six years and there has never been less than a five-foot base,” writes one reader. By mid-season, eight feet underfoot isn’t uncommon thanks to 450-plus inches of annual snowfall.”
Arrive early and head out as lifts start to enjoy perfectly groomed slopes. Cloudchaser is their newest high-speed quad chair rising 1,449 vertical feet above the clouds. Accessing 13 new runs and over 650 acres of new terrain, it greatly enhances Mt. Bachelor’s 360-degree experience. Cloudchaser offers a variety of terrain, from flowing groomers to adventurous tree runs. Ski or snowboard through old-growth forest, extending to the furthest reaches of the eastern slopes.
